Foreign Perspectives

Blog Being Reviewed: FOREIGN PERSPECTIVES
Reviewed By: Naughty Nina

At First Glance: Yikes! Kermit the Frog and his friend Shrek got shitfaced and puked all over this guys blog template - that’s unfortunate.

Template/Design: Talk about information overload…it’s really cluttered and there’s a lot going on here! It’s Ad-central-station too, they’re everywhere and there’s even super-secret-sneaky ads disguised as informational links within his posts. He’s got this thing called “category cloud” on his side bar though – that’s kinda cool. It’s basically a bunch of words that link to various related posts he’s written about any given subject. I like that… and I might even borrow that little idea for myself.

Content: Not really my thing… but if living in France, moving to France, activities in France, French Holidays etc…anything French, there’s a lot of information at your fingertips here and links that go all over the web to other related sites. You could spend hours jumping back and forth between this site and a gazillion others and learn everything French… except how good in bed the men are or how they “measure” up. Now that’s what I wanna know!

What is the one thing I would change about this blog? Clean up the mess that Kermit and Shrek made and go a bit lighter in the color scheme so your readers don’t go blind.

What is the best feature of this blog? Boatloads of information about living, breathing and being in France.

Rating: 2 - Pas un sujet très intéressant pour moi.

Wow, en français s'il-vous-plait ! Quelle classe !

Being French I checked the blog to see if I'd be interested, but the ads everywhere and the paid blogging contents are way too much for me.

I've "heard" that Frenchmen don't measure up. That's why the author doesn't post those specific "items of interest". I can only imagine how embarrassed the French can be about the subject, because frankly NObody seems to want to talk about it. Can't blame them on that one.
