Template - What the fuck is that purple octopus thing on the header?? Are you purposely trying to scare people off or what? Not to mention, the header is way too far to the right for the template itself. If I were drunk I would be throwing up from trying to figure out where to read! I could also do without the flickr pictures right on top - I know you love your kids, but c'mon! Is that what this whole blog is about??
Content - The answer to that question is a big yes! I was inundated on just the first page of pictures of the little ones... and more little ones... and more little ones... and pictures of Yankees pictures. Ooh, you might just be sorry you got me as a reviewer that is for sure! Until you said you were not a Yankee fan I was going to give you a big fat zero just for that (Die Hard Red Sox Fan HERE) but since my boss might just kick my ass for being that biased, I'll continue on.
I know you're a mom, I'm a mom, but c'mon... if you're going to have this much of a mommy blog it might be best left private for your family and friends. I couldn't get past the first page, I'm sorry, I'm bored already.

And for the record, the header is perfectly centered on my laptop. Not sure what your seeing. I have IE.
As for the review, that's fine if it's not for you, but judging a blog from the first page only and not delving into the archives, how can you properly "review" it. Thats kinda like reading the first chapter only of a book and saying it sucked, No?

I have to say I am very disgusted at the reviewers attitude. How can she even judge if she did not look past the first page? Wonder if she has a blog..would love to check it out and critique it.
I think your comments about too friggin busy are rude and inapporiate , sorry your review was nasty and not at all professional ............I like the blog and very opinion is bad!
In my screen, the header is a little to the left. To these nasty reviewers, it's a little to the right. To TFG, it's centered. There are so many factors to consider when evaluating the technicalities of a blog, but they just took one look and bashed the entire blog.
Give them a computer, an internet connection (uber-slow, from what I can deduce) and they think they're experts.
A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. LOL.

If you're going to critique someone else's work, you should first learn to write coherently yourself. Get an education. You have kids? Probably latch key kids, no?
Sigh.... Maybe I'd be more inclined to pay attention to the criticisms if they weren't anonymously sent... all 6 of them. People, if you're going to jump all over our shit, at least have the courtesy to tell us who you are.

You could review with a little more tact. But my guess is that u are probably a form of trailer park trash. Had she gotten a great review, she would have posted good things about us, and raved about how GREAT our site is. Then our site would have mattered to her. It would have mattered to her readers...LOL We'd be SPE-SHULLLL!
However, because one of our reviewers didn't like her suck-ass blog, she decides to pick apart everything that was said, and all of a sudden we "don't matter."
All in all, TFB is the fucking dink-wad that submitted her blog to a site that apparently "doesn't matter." We obviously mattered enough to her to waste her time submitting to us.
Now, she and her "readers" are complaining about a bad review, when she agreed to the review in the first place. C'mon-- you expected us to ooohh and aaaaahh over a site with THIRTY-THREE FUCKING PICTURES ON THE FRONT PAGE ALONE? Gawd.

Wow bitch fight! I am honestly curious about the blogs of reviewers here since I saw the blogs of the IT2M folks. And they are fantastic as well as showing the credibility of the reviewers there.
It's amazing.
As Dee said, no one puts a gun to someone's head to submit their blog to sites like this. You know the risks you're running before you hit the send key -- why cry foul afterward if the result isn't what you wanted to see? That's why it's called risk -- you may not like the result you get.
And if you don't agree with the aesthetic or style of critique, why submit your blog at all? It means you wouldn't respect a positive review any more than a negative one, so why bother?
Oh and Darlene, resorting to ad hominem attacks? For shame.

My POINT ENTIRELY. I don't care that you gave me a bad review, nor do I care about the score.
I am FULLY AWARE of what I got myself into when I sent my blog in. What I do care about is the fact that you call yourselves blog reviewers..well then review the ENTIRE blog, not just the front page. THATS MY POINT THAT YOU SEEM TO BE MISSING.
I don't care if you still think my blog sucks. At least it was a fair judgment. Its obvious Mommy blogs or photo blogs are not your thing.
Besides, what a small part of the internet thinks of my blog does not define me. I will still sleep at night. That I can promise you.

OK, to be fair... I went through your blog and read through some of your archives. I would have given it the same score Simone did.
I'm just sayin'-- if the review would have been a good one, and we'd have said "I don't even need to read past the first page because this blog rocks" you'd be shouting it from the rooftops. Because we gave it a bad review, you've spent your whole day continuing to check in here to see what we're talking about...
The first page of your blog is an exact summary of your entire blog. Kids, kids, and more kids. I read through some of it... its a waste of my time to read more of it.
There's plenty of other review sites out there for you to submit to... send yours in and see what they think. I know we won't be the only ones with the same opinion.
This site is made of really realy rude people , what a shame people come here for blog review. Maybe someone well trained will review better than you ladies .... blog away !
I could have sworn this was a site for reviews. Sometimes, reviews are not glowing. Sometimes, a movie reviewer can watch the first 10 minutes of a movie and hate it, even if they don't watch the next 2 hours. Sometimes a book reviewer can hate or love a book after 2 chapters, and not even need to read the whole book to form an opinion.

That is so brave of you Sexy Simone for showing us your blog. Now I respect you more. I used to be a reviewer as well and honestly I dont really like staying anonymous. It makes some of the readers wonder if your blog gives you the right to review other people's blog. I wished most of the reviewers are like that.
Also I suggest that you guys should design your own blog and not buy or ask someone to do it. Because it does reflect on your credibility to criticise people's templates. *wink*
I am sure that she may not have commented on her review had it been positive.
But TFB's point has been lost in the war of name calling. What TFB is asking is the they give each and EVERY Blog a fair chance to be wonderful or sucky!!
So my point is, if you are still reading, is that TFB is actually pleased to get a 3 as she only expected a 2, (and I think that that is unfair as I know her personally, I am a big part of her kids lives and I find her stories charming and whitty!!)
is that moving forward, give a blog at least muti entries before makeing a review, and do a good job! Then, there is not place for retaliation!!! It is all good!!!
